Clever Dripper

The Clever Coffee Dripper is one of the simplest and most approachable ways to brew coffee at home. Its innovative design allows you to infuse the coffee in the filter before decanting into a vessel of choice.

Pouring Kettle
Paper Filter
Grinder
Scale
Timer

Step 1
Bring filtered water to boil.

​Step 2
Weigh out coffee and grind it to a coarse grind.

Step 3
Form the filter into a cone and place it in the Clever Coffee Dripper. Using freshly boiled water, wet the paper filter evenly. This helps to remove any ‘paper taste’, and warms the brewing apparatus. Discard the rinsing water.

Step 4
Pour the coffee grounds into the filter and level them with a gentle shake to make the coffee bed even. This will allow for a more even pour.​

Step 5
Start the timer. Pour in the indicated amount of water that is slightly off boil.

Step 6
At the 1 min 30 sec mark, agitate the brew with a few stirs and put the cover back on.​

Step 7
Just before the end of the brew time, give the coffee one last stir.​

Step 8
At the 4 min mark, decant the coffee brew by sitting the Clever Coffee Dripper over a mug and releasing the valve.
